The idea was to take the car and get out of Berlin for the day. Weirdly, after almost an hour ride ( with Andrew Bird very loud in the car ), we were still in Berlin. Wannsee. The walk in the forest. The ferry ride on the lake. The island. The pic nic et je vous parle pas des moustiques... It was so exotic, new, different and yet so familiar.
oh the wannsee! we spent many hot days there while living in berlin. it was where we went when we were craving the ocean, and this was the closest thing to it. different, but it satisfied a part of our craving, or at least quieted it. you capture it beautifully - the heat, the light, the summer colours, they all come back to me when i see these. thank you for this lovely nostalgia trip chère marion ♥
