Romain Sellier is a French, young and talented photographer.
At the age of 20, Romain began an acting career and flied to New York to study theater. Back in France he created two plays which have been played both in Paris & Avignon. But he soon realized that his chances to be directed by David Lynch & Gus Van Sant were rather small... So, Romain decided to travel, discover and enjoy the world and in the same time, he discovered himself a passion for photography.
Specialized in portraits, he then worked for Dealer De Luxe, Le Monde 2, Technikart, Milk and many others... In October 2009 he's been awarded with "la mention spéciale du prix Picto de la jeune photographie de mode ".

His love for cinema and directors are very present in his work.
He always works his shoots like short films. He builds a story, is looking for characters, a scenery, costumes...

I discovered Romain's work around a coffee with my friend Franck who works for/with me & for Picto. We were talking about the new people he's been working for and the news of the lab & he told me "have a look at Romain's work, I know you, you're going to love it".
I am completely amazed by the sharp construction of each one, par la technique, par le rendu.

Merci Romain !
