Born in Seoul, and currently residing in Los Angeles, Ye Rin Mok has taken photos for Anthen, Nylon, Tokion, Theme, Spin, Monocle, and the list really does go on. Her photos were prominently featured in the Lions Gate Film "Hard Candy" which opened in theaters in early 2006.
Looking through Mok’s portfolio I discovered a large number of the photos in which the subject is actually facing away from the camera. You can see these here.
