The photographer Juergen Teller was born in 1964 in Erlangen, Germany. He studied at the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photograhie in Munich (1984-1986) before moving to London in 1986, where he currently lives and works. His photographs have been featured in The Face, Vogue (US, France, England, Italy), Another, Index, W Magazine, Self Service, Details, Purple, i-D among others. For the last 10 years, he has collaborated with Marc Jacobs and also works on the Vivienne Westwood campaign.
Teller has a raw, overexposed style and he uses a Contax G2 camera with an onboard flash.
The last one is one of my favourites ever. From a photoshoot he made for W Magazine last year, in a series about Washington.
