100 = 100

Kevin Bauman is currently residing in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan, but has lived in Colorado, Oregon, and Wisconsin, he has developed an interest in the interaction between man and environment. Whether the urban decay associated with Detroit, or the mountains of the western United States, his focus has been and continues to be on the landscape. His landscapes, however, do not always reflect the idyllic scene most often portrayed by the traditional landscape photograph or painting, but ranges from serene Lake Superior sunsets to chaotic post-industrial landscapes of urban Detroit. All images, whether the crumbling facade of a century old mansion, or a client's industrial drill, are linked together by his devotion to photography, and each recieves the same attention to detail.

These pictures are from a project called "100 abandoned houses".

I wanted to post about this "100 project" today because this post is the 100th on this blog.

I am having a lot of fun doing it and things cool are happening right now with L'Inventaire.

So it was a way to celebrate ! Cheers !
